Dustin I. Nichols is the Managing Attorney at The Law Office of Dustin I. Nichols, A PC in Newport Beach, California. For over 29 years, Dustin has worked a sa practitioner providing clients with common sense and uncommon thinking in the areas of comprehensive domestic and foreign integrated corporate, estate and business planning strategies, including niche retirement planning for California resident business owners. Dustin has worked in the areas of entity formation, estate planning, transactional, risk mitigation and creditor exemption planning, as well as trust administration and litigation. 

Dustin counsels California resident business owners on Integrated Estate, Corporate and Integrated Exemption Planning structures and strategies, including the California Private Retirement Trust (PRT®) solution. Dustin and his Team are also often called upon by bankruptcy and litigation attorneys to review and opine on the legal efficacy and validity of various asset protection structures and plans possessed by clients. Dustin's extensive knowledge in the area of digital assets and block chain technology allows him to provide clients with the unique option of funding Estate Planning structures and PRTs with cyptocurrencies, an option not utilized by most California planning attorneys.

Dustin is a former Partner with the Orange County, California law firm of Bown & Streza, LLP, where he ran their Integrated Exemption Planning Division. Dustin is an author and speaker focusing on asset retention topics, has been published by James Publishing and has spoken for notable professional organizations, including the Orange County Bar Association, California Forum and WealthCounsel. Dustin often conducts continuing legal seminars and speaks on the topic of Integrated Exemption Planning and the PRT®. Dustin was one of the original Techincians/Inventors that developed the proprietary PRT® solution and administration support platform in Calforinia. 

Dustin has also been published in such professional publications as The Orange County Lawyer, Bloombert Tax and First American Trust Quarterly. Dustin provides private workshops and lunch-n-learns for large CPA Firms, R.I.A.'s, life insurance advisors and financial professionals on the PRT®. Dustin received his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science from California State University, Northridge. He is a Member of the California State Bar, is certified before the U.S. Tax Court, and is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts in the Eastern and Central Districts of California.

Dustin is married, boasting a blended family six minor and adult children. Having played and coached football for many yearts, every day begins with weight training to create a winning mindset to better serve his clients.
