From Show and Tell to the Opening Bell ®

What better value-added service is there for you to help your clients and their families become wise wealth stewards and creators of a financially literate legacy?  As their trusted advisor, you can teach your clients how to create more self-reliant and economically viable children and grandchildren whose financial lives are compatible with your clients’ values and belief systems.

In this presentation, Certified Financial Planner™, Peggy Eddy will share her insights with us about how to raise financially literate children and grandchildren. Peg will bring to us her humor, practical advice, “tales from the trenches,” and a unique approach to money as a powerful, positive tool and its proper place in our lives and those of our clients.

Before you can assist your clients, your own money “psyches” will be explored to help you become a better financial role model for your younger family members and a better steward of your own talents and finances.

Using her more than thirty-five years of experience as a fee-only financial and investment advisor, in this interactive and engaging presentation, Peg will provide practical ways for your clients and you to teach financial responsibility to the next generation.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Peggy Eddy, CFP®

President of San Diego-based Creative Capital Management, Incorporated, Peggy Eddy has been a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner for more than thirty-five years. In jest, she often says she should be introduced as a “Certified Financial Psychologist”.

She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, long before it became co-ed. Following her graduation, Peggy became a principal in a firm which placed junior military officers with Fortune 500 companies.  (It was during this time, “having interviewed over 1000 men,” she quips, “that I met my husband and business partner, Bob.”)

Founded in 1975, Peggy and Bob's company, Creative Capital Management, Incorporated (“CCMI”), is a fee only firm which provides business counseling, tax planning, retirement planning, estate and succession planning and investment advice to high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs throughout the Western United States.

Active in the San Diego community, Peggy has served on numerous community boards. She served as President and Board member of the San Diego Chapter of Women in Business and as President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), which she founded.  Peggy has served on the boards of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace, Lightbridge Hospice Foundation and San Diego Venture Partners.  She is a member of San Diego Rotary Club 33 board and belongs to the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Association. Peg also founded the Family Business Forum at the University of San Diego, to encourage the continuity of family businesses in Southern California. Twice Peggy has been honored as one of the “San Diego Women Who Mean Business” in the financial services area and has been honored as the Woman Business Owner of the Year by NAWBO.  Her firm has also been selected by the San Diego Business Journal as one of “San Diego’s Best Places to Work” in the small business category.

A popular speaker at conferences on business and financial topics, Peggy writes frequently on

financial and business topics and has been quoted in local and national financial publications. She takes pleasure in helping clients transform their financial lives and motivating entrepreneurs and professionals to plan for their lives beyond their businesses.
