Prouty\n \nErin L. Prouty is a member (partner) of the Los Angeles law firm of\n Hoffman, Sabban & Watenmaker, located in Westwood. Ms. Prouty concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, probate litigation, and related income tax and estate tax matters. She is certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, and she is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel\ (ACTEC). Ms. Prouty is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California, and of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. \n \nMs. Prouty has lectured extensively for professional and lay groups,\n including the USC Probate & Trust Conference, the UCLA/CEB Annual Estate Planning Institute, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), several local bar associations and estate planning councils, UCLA’s Anderson School of Business, Pepperdine University, and the Jewish Community Foundation.\n \nMs. Prouty is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.A.\n 1980), where she was a member of the women’s national championship volleyball team; she received her law degree from the University of San Diego (J.D. 1985), and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University (1986), where she served as an editor of the Boston University Journal of Tax Law.
